When God ran #3

I found myself over again puzzling all night long, thinking, “What’s my favorite song to blog in?” Until an idea came along, and I finally found this magnificent song that really suits me.
Ever since, I do love listening on gospel songs for it brings peace on my mind, takes away my problems, and inspires me. Thus, I had made up on my mind to choose the song entitled “When God ran” by Phillips, Craig, and Dean. The song tells about the story about the Prodigal Son, one of the parables in the Bible. It’s about a son who disobeyed and forsaken his own father. With the life’s earthly doings, the prodigal son was lost. He blew out all his money on a wasteful living and had all his money ran out. By the time he decided to go home, he found his father waiting all along for him, longing for his own child despite of all the wrong things he did. With the song’s lyrics says on its chorus:
                    He ran to me,
He took me in His arms,
Held my head on His chest,
He said, ‘My son’s come home again!’
                Lifted my face,
Wiped the tears from my eyes,
                With forgiveness in His voice,
He said, ‘Son, do you know I still love you?’
                He caught me by surprise,
                When God ran.
In listening this song’s lyrics, I found myself weeping. I had realized that no matter how sinful we are and had no one to run to, still we seek on to God for help and He comes running for us. And with His unbounded love for us, He cleans up our hearts and had our sins forgiven. Do you see how blessed we are to have Him as our Father? Why would you turn that kind of love down? I hope you had already apprehended about it.
Try to listen When God ran. . .

Thanks for listening. . . =))
